Illustrated in the two maps is a coastal area in Australia that has been transformed since 1950.
Overall, that beachfront area suffered drastic changes from a residential spot into a more commercialized area full of entertaining facilities.
The road has been upsized and expanded around the Northwest side, allowing for the construction of one more parking space for cars which replaced the playground areas for children. Besides outdoor dining tables, the lighthouse, and the pavilion which survived the transformation, the aforementioned modernization has facilitated tourist access to the coastal destinations.
Moreover, the 25-meter pool was enlarged into a 50-meter one on the left front of the beach, enabling more visitors to approach artificial swimming equipment. The two surfing places called surf clubs are added to both sides of the main area which developed the recreational activities in the summer together with a new infrastructure of a restaurant meeting the demands of visitors’ need for immediate food.
