The map illustrates a neighbourhood in the city of Edgewater in 1922 and in 1972. Lot’s of things changed over this period of time. Let’s describe some of them.
First thing we can see on the left highest corner is that Hall of Science have been replaced with Bleaker Hall of law. Close behind at the right there is a Carter Libriary and University Centre above the College Street and it still there after 50 years but there is a difference now between them there is a Phillip’s Park that were replaced from lowest right corner.
Let’s now move to the center of both images. At the left of a West Street there is a Saint Mary’s Hospital after half of a century it’s still remaining there. But at the East side of the road we can view some significant changes. Between College Street and Pickman Street there was an old houses that were rebuilded at the South right under at the place of an previously West Church they’ve built West Shopping Mall and two other buildings next to it at the right; a Phillips Heights and under them Apartments.
Lastly if we will look a the lowest left corner of a 1922 year’s map we will find Post Offince. Since that time it’s a place of a restaurant called Alice’s Diner. As i told before At the South of the Pickman Street everything changed. At the East of a new houses now we can see Edgewater Stadium that before was Phillips Park I mentioned at the beggining
