The given set of images shows the differences in the maps of an art gallery in Australia in the year 1950 and now. It is noticeable that there are significant changes done in the gallery during this period.
In 1950, There was a long country-yard in the back of the gallery which is now replaced by art rooms and children art school, however there are many elements which are kept the same such as entrance, sculpture and bookshop. On the left of sculpture there were three rooms for cafe, temporary exhibition and a bookshop while on the right side there were several art room such for Early European Art, Middle European Art and Australian Art.
The second map shows the current structure of the art gallery. The major change is addition of an extra art rooms, one on the right end of entrance for Asian art and another on the back of the Sculpture which is for Australian Aboriginal Art. On the left of the Sculpture, A children art school has been constructed. The old cafe is now partitioned in to 2 equal halves 1 for cafe and another for toilets.
In summary, In 1950 the art gallery had two sections: one for art rooms and another for extra activities like shopping and exhibition. Currently, there is no such clear division, but it is notable that more rooms and facilities are added in the gallery.
