The maps illustrate the lay out of a university library in 2005 and in the present. Overall, the library was primarily equipped with bookshelves; however, following the redevelopent, it has become more visitor friendly and recreational place, introducing more technological facilities and features that allow students to spend more time in this library.
Back then, the museum used to have a simple lay out with limited facilities. Access to the area was from the bottom left and upon entering, the study tables occupied heart of the map, behind which lay bookshelves. To the right and the left of the entrance, more bookshelves could be found facing the student area, while desks with computers located at the far end of the room on the right. The library office was in between the computer area and the bookshelves on the right side of the entrance, with the book borrowing and return section positioned diagonally across from it.
Until now, however, the library had undergone a significant makeover. The study tables had been replaced with the private study desks, and the area to work with computers had been extended along the left-hand section, replacing the bookshelves left-hand to the entrance. It was the bookshelves on the right side that actually witnessed a considerable change, as two sections of automated book borrowing system added, enhancing reader experience and allowing to save time for other educational activities. The bookshelves behind the private learning area remained untoched overtime.
