The pictures display the change of industrial village, Stamford, situated in England in 1985 and 2015. Overall, the area transformed to be more residential, with the most significant development being the replacement of the factory to the industrial zone and many new housings.
Looking first to the northern, the sole factory located in the east has been relocated to the industrial area in the northernmost. Back then to 1985, there was only one main road running from the north-west to the south-east crossing the Thames river, but in the recent map, a new branch road from the main road, which runs to the north-east, was built toward the industrial zone. Two towers are built for employees of factories along the corner of the road’ junction, and many settlements which are called ‘Housing Estate 1’ have been constructed on the opposite side.
Moving to the southern area, the field was moved to the south of Housing Estate 1. A row of small roadside inns has been replaced from north-west to the south-east. The bridge remained in the same spot, with considerable upgrade on its material from wood to steel. Housing Estate 2 is a new skyscraper constructed in the south-east. In the new version, many plants are grown in several areas around Stamford.
