The map describes the modifications taking place in a seaside town known as Portview from 1990 to 2010.
Overall, this town was transformed from a rural region into a more modern and visitor-friendly area, with many new amenities and facilities over the past 20 years.
Elvin Street divided this area into two sides. On the north side, in 1990, most of the area was occupied by a large farmland; however, it was demolished to make way for a park with several trees, benches, two walking paths, and small waterholes. A golf course was built to the northeast of the farmland and expanded westward after 20 years. The resort and shopping mall, which were in close proximity to Elvin Street, were renovated into 5-star hotels and a shopping complex. A swimming pool, which was to the southeast of the farmland, was reconstructed with 2 more swimming pools.
On the east side, a new car park was built opposite the hotels. Moreover, there were some changes to the shops on both sides of Waterfront Street, and the pier was doubled in size.
