The two maps above depicts a shopping centre today and its proposed changes for the future.
Overall, it is clear that the mall and car park will be expanded eastward, taking over the golf course, park, and fitness centre. This planned renovation is done to allow for more stores and a greater focus on fashion at the expense of eateries.
Looking at the top part of the map, right now there seems to be an area for children, a noodle shop, and a cinema from left to right, respectively. In the future, however, this is all going to change, the whole top section will be replaced by fashion outlets, such as a beauty salon, a shoe store, a cosmetics shop, and a gift store. To the east of the mall, there exists a golf course and a park, these will be destroyed to make way for the expansion of the mall.
Moving on to the bottom portion of the map, currently we have a cafe, supermarket, toilet, and a department store. Later down the line, the cafe will be replaced by an information centre, the department store will be moved and expanded towards the east. A separate entrance will also be built for the department store. As for the supermarket and toilet, there are not any planned changes for them. To the south of the mall is where the car park is at, this will be made bigger in the future, taking up the space of the fitness centre next to it.
