The two maps illustrate a shopping mall, called Southside, in its current form and future expansion.
Overall, several changes have been predicted to create extra space for more shops and places for activities with easy access to the car park.
Currently, Southside Mall consists of only seven facilities – a supermarket, toilets, a department store, cinemas, a noodle shop, and a cafe with a children’s play area. To the east of the center is a golf course, below which the park is located. To the south, there is a fitness center and car park opposite the mall entrance.
Turning to the predicted map, only the supermarket and toilets remain the same, as does the entrance. There is anticipated a significant development at the shopping center. The golf course and park are planned to be eliminated and replaced by a bigger department store with its own entrance. Inside the mall, there will be a line of five shops – a beauty salon, a gift shop, cosmetics, and shoes shops. Near the supermarket and toilet facilities, there are planned to be three new fashion stores, while the cafe will be changed into an info center. The Fitness center will be demolished to make an enormous car park.
