The two illustrations depict how the shopping mall named Southside looks currently and how it would look after renovation.
Overall, it is clear that the main plan is to extend the area of the shopping mall, adding variations in the stores, while excluding the food store and green lands.
At present, Southside Mall lies in a small area on the western-north side of the map; moreover, it consists of an entrance, a cafe, a supermarket, a department store, cinemas, a playground for children, and toilet facilities. Opposite the entrance of the mall there is a car park, and a little further on the east side of it there is a fitness center. Apart from that, there is a golf course and park in the northeast area.
According to the renovational proposal, the supermarket, entrance, and toilet will remain at the same place. However, the golf course, park, cinemas, noodle shop, play area, and cafe will be demolished. Despite these, the shopping mall will be holding a bigger area, and inside there will be a larger department store, a newly installed fashion store, two shoe stores, a cosmetics store, a beauty store, and an information center. The fitness center will also be knocked down, and the car park will take over the whole area.
