The maps show how Liverton Harbor have changed over time since 1980. Overall, all warehouses and cranes were eliminated and re-built making way for other buildings like educational centers, sailing club, kid’s playground, hotel, apartments and car park.
In the 1980 a warehouse on the Western part of the dock was repurposed to an educational center, and other one which stood on the Eastern part of the dock was re-built to the kid’s playground. As for the other which was on the Southern part of the dock was newly built to the apartments.
Coming to the cranes, they were in three parts of the dock on the Northern side, on the West-Southern part and on the Southern-East sides. The crane which was used in Northern-West part of the harbor was eliminated making way for building a new sailing club. From Eastern-South of the dock where was a crane was constructed a bridge dam across the river from Northern part to South also making people crossing easier. As regards for the crane which stood at the bottom on the Western-South of the map was diminished and the hotel was built making view for the river. Another thing is the river walk was constructed from hotel across to the bridge making way for who loves walking by the river.
