The two maps illustrate how the layout of the town of Fosbury has developed between 1980 and 2015.
Overall, the outskirts of Fosbury has been significantly modernised over the 35-year period, changing from residantial center into a more modern and well-developed area.
In 1980, the outskirts of Fosbury consisted primarily of two tennis courts, block of flats and terraced houses in the north-eastern part of the map. At that time, the south-eastern part of the area occuped by fields. In addition, a large proportion of the area was taken up by a road.
In 2015, most of the rural areas have been reorganized and established. The town has become far more developed, with the construction of a circular road in the centre of the map. By contrast, two tennis courts which are located in the southern part of the area were replaced by sports center. Moreover, the first car park was built near the sports center ,the second was added in the north-eastern part of the map. In addition, the fields were converted into warehouses.
