The maps demonstrate the changes of Wildan area from 1990 till the present date.
Overall, it is evident that the most noticeable alteration in this location has occurred to the park area.
In 1990, there was a transport depot in the town of Wildan, and it was situated in the northwest corner. Moving in a clockwise direction, in the northern side, there were five homes in a linear orientation. Just below these homes were two blocks of flats and a small park to the east side. A road divided the place into a northern and a southern part. In the southern half, some more blocks of flats and factories were evident along with a café. Finally, a river flowed alongside the south side of the area.
At present, numerous changes have taken place while some places remain the same. First of all, the transport depot has been demolished since a new mini golf course has been introduced in its place. Although the location of homes are still in the north side, their number has been reduced from 5 to 3. Another new addition in the northeast corner is the community centre. The park experienced major changes as it is now quite enlarged and has been relocated more towards the centre, occupying the space previously occupied by blocks of flats. Although the road is still the same as before, in the southern half, a new restaurant with some tables and chairs has opened up. Moreover, the number of blocks of flats and factories are still the same today though the orientation is different. Finally, no changes have been made to the waterfront and the river.
