In 1974, 70 million tonnes of goods were transported by using roads, standing in first place. However, by 2002, it rose rapidly to around 100 million tones. According to water transport, the year began with 40 million tonnes of things and reached above 60 million tonnes in the end of the given year, showing plateaus in the periods of 1975-1978 and 1982-1994.
Figure for rail started with 40 million tonnes and recorded several fluctuations, ranging from 30 to 40 from 1978 to 2002. Moreover, the lowest tonnes of products were transported by using pipeline, with 5 million tonnes in 1974 and 15 million tonnes in between 1980 and 1992. Finally, by 2002, it reached around 22 million tonnes.
