The bar graph illustrates the percentage of part-time worker in each country of UK:( England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales) for the years of 1980 and 2010.
Overall, except Northern Ireland, all the other countries’ figure witnessed an upward trend. Northern Ireland’s figure was the only thing that faced downward trend. Both years Wales’ figure was the highest one whilst Scotland was the lowest in 1980 and Northern Ireland in 2010.
In 1980, Wales was the highest figure which was 32% while Scotland was the least by 11%. England and Northern Ireland managed to got 26%, 15% respectively
England, Scotland and Wales got an increase in 2010 which was 32%, 19% and 34% respectively. Whilst Northern Ireland’s figure declined by approximately 2% to nearly 12% in 2010.
