In 1995, nearly 70% of people accessed news from television, making it the most popular sources at that time. However, this figure decreased to 60% in early 2000s. Then, in the next 20 years, the percentage of people accessing news from TV fell steadily and it expected to reach 50% at the end of the period. Meanwhile, the least popular source was the Internet, with 0% of users in 1995. However, after a slight increase in 2000, the figure rocketed to 40% in 2020 with a prediction that will be reach a peak in 2025, at 55%
Besides, newpapers and radio, whose figures began at around 57% and 52%, were the second and the third most common ways for people to access news in 1995. Then, in the next 30 years, these two figures experienced the same downward trend with the expectation to fall to under 30% in 2025.
