The graphic compares the alteration of a museum in 1998 to its composition in 2008 throughout a decade.
Overall, it is apparent that the museum exhibited a large number of modifications, the most notable of which were the rearrangement of permanent exhibition rooms to the right section and the reformation of a new layout for the garden in the heart of the map.
When it comes to the museum in 1998, it was marked with a big garden in the middle with a small coffee shop to its upper area, both of which were surrounded by four fixed exhibition rooms. Located in the bottom section were other functional rooms. There was a spacious tempopary exhibition room lied in the bottom left corner, adjacient to the entrance where to buy tickets. Additionally, WC, Shop and a store selling bags and coats were placed in the right lower area.
In a decade time frame, what made the museum witness considerable transformation was the shrinkage of permanent exhibition rooms from 4 to 3 rooms. These rooms were located majorly on the right of the museum, grouping other facilities to the middle and the left side. A cafe sitting area and fountains were added, at the expense of a small area in the garden. Although cafe retained its original position, it was sandwiched by a new restaurant to the left and a restroom to the right. Meanwhile, temporary exhibition room was widened and located right next to the garden in the center. Another striking change was the rearrangement to the left corner of shop and a stall for bags and coats which was to the right in 1998.
