The image compares two aerial diagrams of a place called "Shipsmouth," one from 1995 and the other from 2010. In the 1995 diagram, there’s a factory with smoke coming from a chimney, a road with a single car, a church, and a train station with two train cars on the track. There are trees visible, and the water body shows two fish. In the 2010 diagram, the factory is replaced by apartment blocks, the road has been converted to a walking path for pedestrians only, and the church is replaced by a pub. The station now has four train cars on the track, a shopping center, a football stadium, and skyscrapers are added to the cityscape, and an airport with a plane is seen where trees used to be. The water body no longer has visible fish.
Given the complexity of the image, the above description may not be entirely accurate.

The two maps show the main changes which took place in the town of Shipsmouth from 1995 to 2010.
In general, it appears that Shipsmouth was become a far more modern city, with modern buildings and transport facilities.
A notable change was that the old houses turning into the skyscrapers. In 1995, the southeast of the city used to be a green area, with lots of trees, but the trees were cut down and a new airport was built. Another striking change was that the old church in the northeast of the city was demolished to make way for new pub. A new station was also constructed in the north of the city.
It was interesting to note that there was the motorway making into the pedestrians. There didn’t use to be a football stadium, it was built in the southwest of the station in the 2010. The old factory was replaced to new shopping centre. A final interesting development was the green area converted to modern apartment blocks in the northwest of this city.
