Overall, the annual income earned by a family dropped, whereas the food and clothing expenses increased over time. Among the expenditures on various items, meat and fish and fruit and vegetables were more commonly purchased than the other items.
Looking specifically at the table, the amount of earnings by city residents fell significantly from 29000 in 2010 to 25000 in 2013. However, the spending on food and clothes by the city residents rose by 1000 pounds.
With regards to the pie chart, majority of the expenses were on meat and fish and fruit and vegetables which in combination represents more than half of the total expenses . While the expenses on meat and fish declined by 6 percentage points, this was compensated by fruits and vegetables which increased from 26% to 30% within just 3 years. Expenses on dairy products rose by 4 percentage points, which is in contrast to clothes, that decreased by 2%.
