The pie and bar charts demonstrate the amount of water consumption and its usage by Australian residents in proportion in 2004. Overall, it can be clearly seen that the residential water consumerism was dominant, while utilization was almost similar in garden and bathroom.
Looking at the pie chart, houses, 50%, and apartments, 20%, together spent 70% of water, meaning that they were the main consumers’ place. Having nearly the same percentage, water used in business and industrial zones were 11% and 10%, respectively. However, in other areas its consumption was merely 3%, which is twice less than the government’s.
Regarding the bar chart, percentages in usage of water in the garden and bathroom differ only by a percent, showing 28% and 27%. For washing clothes,20%, inhabitants used it two times more than in the kitchen,10%. In the toilet they made use of exactly half of the limited rate, reaching at 15%
