The pie chart illustrates different places where the art classes are conducted. The table represents number of learners in each of those classes as per age groups in a Canadian town. The unit of measurement used in pie chart is percentage.
Overall , it can be seen that most of the classes were conducted in private studios. However, college-based studios are preferred less. More number of students of age group “Under 11” are interested in art classes as compared to “11-16” age group. Although, there is a very less difference in number of students in both the categories.
According to the pie chart, out of all the locations, private studious are 48% in number and the second most used place is school halls which are 24%. Contrary to this, college-based studios are only 10%.
It is observed that children under the age of 11 are most keen to learn watercolor painting as 600 students attend this class. Whereas, there are only 300 students in the same class of age group of 11-16. These children mostly choose mixed media painting over any other art class and there are 525 students in this class.
