The data presents the energy generation by fuel type in the UK for 2 years.
In the 2 years it could be seen that the the percentage of energy generation in the pie chart is stable, except for coal and renewable energies. Through 2014 until 2016 the number of coal energy that are produced decreased significantly. Subsequently, the number of renewable energies increased over the years.
Overall, energies like nuclear, gas, and oil and other stayed relatively the same. However, renewable energies expand rapidly over the years and there is a decline in the production of coal energy production. In 2014, the percentage of renewables is 15%. Later, in 2016 the number inclined to 25.2%. On the other hand, the production of coal in 2014 is 28.4%. Afterwards, in 2016, the ratio of coal in 2016 reduced to 18.1%.
This shows the stability from production of energy of nuclear, gas, and oil. Also, the fluctuation of coal and renewable energy production across the 2 years.
