The pie chart below illustrates the comparison of different types of energy produced in France in the given time period between 1995 and 2005.
In 1995, the top three categories of energy production were coal, gas, and petrol with a sharing percentage of 29.80%, 29.63%, and 29.27% respectively. which is 90% of the total energy produced in France. However, in 2005, It can be seen that two of the three categories shows a positive impact and increased its production, i.e., coal and gas with its production percentage 30.93% and 30.31% respectively. While petrol shows a negative impact as compared to other two and dropped from 29.27% to 19.55%.
The other two categories are other and nuclear. which are produced only 10% in comparison with others and their percentages are 4.90% and 6.40% respectively. Moreover, in 2005 these two categories also showed a positive impact and their production percentages goes up significantly to 9.10% to 10.10% respectively.
Overall, the energy produced in France in 10 years shows a remarkable improvement in all energy production sectors except petrol. which shows decline in their production.
