Overall, the majority of the housing spending pattens in the UK was leisure. Also, the majority of housing expenses was utility bills in New Zwaland. Nevertheless, the minority of housing spending pattens in two countries were others.
In UK, the significant part was leisure which accounted for nearly one-third in 1980 and increased 7% in 2008. Also, utility bills and food & drink were shared just over half of all which accounted for 23% and 26% each in 1980. Whereas, food & drink decreased 10% in 20 years later.
In New Zealand, the main spending pattens of housing was food & drink which accounted for roughly one-third, and utility bills just 2% lower than it in 1980. Furthermore, the utility bills were the largest one of five spending patterns which was 31% in 2008. However, transport, leisure and others were share another half part in two decades.
