Pie chart illustrates the proportion of types of leisure time use among United Kingdom residents. There is also a bar chart that shows how much time per week people of different ages spend on health and fitness.
Overall, a little more than half of the pie chart is taken up by working, studying and socialising, the average person spends half as much sleep. Also the health and fitness and working out population spends approximately the same amount of time.
The bar chart shows that under the age of 18, men spend about 10 hours a week, while women about 8. Between the ages of 18 and 24, men are again ahead of women by a couple of hours and reach their maximum time of 13 hours. In the next age category which is from 25 to 39 years old the situation is absolutely opposite from the previous group. In the 40 to 54 age group, women are again in the lead, and in the over 55 group, the figures are comparable and amount to 9 hours per week.
As a result, we can see that passive types of pastime are in the lead and take up the absolute majority of the time.
