The distribution of average monthly household expenses in five different categories-Housing, Food, Transport, Utility bills, and Clothing in year 2024 is depicted by the pie chart.
It is evident that Housing had the highest share in the monthly household expenses, followed by Food and Transport, whereas Clothing had the lowest share in monthly household expenses.
In detail, Housing dominated by 30%, which was the highest among others. It shows that accomodation was the major expense in Toronto. Moving further Food was accounted at 22%, which was second neccessary expense after housing, followed by Transport at 15%. Transport expenses were half of Housing expenses.
Moreover, The next expense was Utility bills like electricity, WIFI, and gas bills were 14%, which was nearly equal to Transport expenses. Remaining, Clothing accounted for 10%, which was Lowest among others. We can see that Clothing was not much neccessary in front of Housing and Food.
