In the first chart (2012), the proportion of advertising by TV accounted for 43%, which was the largest share of total spending. Following it was advertising by print, stood at 38%. The figures for digital, outdoor and radio were a small number, at 6%, 5% and 7% respectively. Advertising by cinema was the least amount among all.
In the second chart (2017), spending for advertising by TV had a slight increase, and continued to be the biggest contributor, at 45%. Followed by TV, ad spending by print and radio also declined marginally by 8% and 2% respectively. There was a noticeable rise, from 6% to 15%, while outdoor advertising remained stable at 5%.
