Overall, it is evident that housing contributed the predominant category of expenditures than the others, while, lower income groups spent maximum amount of salary for Household compared to individuals.
In the pie chart, housing and transportation constituted more then half proportion of all income expenditures, at 33% and 18%, respectively. Meanwhile, modest proportion of expenditures was spent by food, health care, personal insurance, and entertainment, at 13%, 11%, 7%, and 6%, each. While, only 3% of income was usages by saving, apparel, and other.
On the other hand, the bar graph demonstrate that the largest distribution of income was done by bands $25000 to $50000 and $25000, which accounted for 24% for household, and 36% for individuals, respectively, and 29% for household, and 35% for individuals. Whereas, the mid-range income group bands $50000 to $75000 and $100000 accounted for 18% for household and 7% for individuals, and 18% for household and 16% for individuals. Ironically, the smallest percentages of income distributed by highest salary band $75000 to $100000 with 11% for household and only 6% for individuals.
