Overall, there is a sharp distinction between the proportions of male individuals in terms of their working hours, while the reverse pattern is true when it comes to those of women.
Regarding men’s time for their jobs, the percentages of men using over 46 hours per weeking for their work head the list, with 30% and 34% for the governmental and private companies, respectively. Following this, one out of five male employees in private institutions spends around 31-45 hours for doing their job, as with the ones in the 13-30 and 6-12 groups. Meanwhile, just as around one-fifth men in governmental organizations work from 6 to 12 hours, so over 20% of male individuals spend between 1 to 2 hours for their job. Bottom of the list is the 13-30-working-hour group in the government, at 9%, while that of private counterparts is the 1-2-hour with 5%.
Concerning women’s working hours, the percentage of individuals who work between 6 to 12 hours in a week comes top, comprising 35% for both sectors. It is followed by those of 13-30-hour group, with a total of 43% for both sectors, sightly higher than the 31-45-hour one. About one in five females in both governmental and private sectors work for less than 2 hours weekly, while a mild 4% for each type of institutions spend more than a quarter of their week for their jobs.
