The pie chart shows information on where meals are normally consumed, such as at home, at work. fast food outlets, and restaurants. The bar graph displays data on the popular cuisines-Italian, American, Mexican and Middle Eastern- age groups 16-24 and 25-40. Overall, most meals are eaten at fast food outlets, and the most popular cuisine among both age groups.
In detail, fast food outlets are the most popular location for meal consumption; largest proprtion being 43.5%. In second place, are restaurants with 26.1%, followed by at work which is 21.7%;the differnce between restaurants and the work place is very minor. At last comes at home, which is the least common location for enjoying a meal, with an extremely small proprtion of 8.7%.
Regarding the popularity of the various cusines. Italian, American and Mexican are favoured slightly more by people of ages 16-24 than ages 25-40. However, the Middle Eastern cusine is much more preferred by the age group 25-40 than ages 16-24. All in all, the American cusine prevails as it has the highest number of people for both age groups. While the Middle Eastern cusine has the least amount of people for both age groups.
In summary, people prefer to have their mealsat fast food outlets and the American cusine has proved to be a fan favourite. On the contrary, having meals at home was extremely unpoplar, and so is Middle Eastern food.
