The pie chart compares the percentage of the Australian population which country they were born and the table illustrates where individuals resided in these coutries live.
From an overall perspective, the majority of Australian’s population was born right in this country. In addition, most of people in Australia choose to live in urban areas.
As can be seen from the pie chart, nearly 73% residents borned in Australia, which is about 10 times higher than that of UK. It is noticeable that the people who were born in New Zealand, China, and Netherlands accounted for the smallest proportions, with 1%, 2% and 3% respectively. Besides, nearly one-fourth of Australian’s population come from other countries.
With the table data, it is clear that 99% of Australians born in China live in city, much higher than the figures for those from the Netherlands, the UK or Australia, at 90%, 89% and 83% respectively. Moreover, the natives of New Zealand constitute the largest share of those living in rural areas, at 20%.
