The pie chart illustrates the amount of graduates in nursing destinations in the UK in 2009. While the table compares the various occupations held by these graduates within the health sector. Overall, the majority of graduates opted to work in the health sector. A huge number of graduates preferred becoming a hospital nurse, followed by graduates who opted to become midwives and community nurses who were selected smaller choices.
According to the breakdowns of the pie chart, the largest portion was working in health sector at 84% and some graduates were working and studying at 8%. Notably, the proportion for graduates who studied further and other workings at the same amount at 2% and the portion for unemployed graduates exhibited 4%.
Regarding working in health sector, numerous graduating students chose being hospital nurse at 72.9 % while the figures for mindwives, and community nurses witnessed quite similar percentages at 12.4%and 10.3%, respectively. The amount for graduates who opted to become paramedic and other stood at 1.3% and 2.7 %, respectively. It is evident that the lowest percentage belonged to graduates who chose becoming mental nurse at 0.4 %
