The pie chart delineates the amount of expenditures and revenue sources of a children’s charity in the USA in 2016.
Overall, it is apparent that the total amount of funds received and expenses were nearly equal, with expenses just slightly less than funds received. It can also be inferred that donated food and program services contributed the most of revenue sources and expenditures respectively.
Firstly, the revenue received was accumulated through five named sources, with donated food covering the vast majority at 86.6 per cent. In comparison, community conributions and program revenue contributed just above one-tenth of the total revenue. The remaining proportion was from investment income, government grants, and other incomes with only 0.2-0.4 per cent.
Similarly, the pie chart for expenditures also showed a similar trend, with only one source covering the vast majority of the data. Program services covered 95.8 per cent of the expenses, whereas fundraising and management and general was 2.6 per cen and 1.6 per cen respectively.
