The charts illustrate the amount of revenue and expenditures during the year 2016 for a children’s charity in USA.Overall, is it clear that majority of income was generated from donated food, while program services accounted for the most expenditure. Total revenue just exceeded outgoing.

In detail, donated food provided the most revenue for the children’s charity, at 86.6%. Likewise, with regard to expenditure, program services accounted for nearly dominated of all the expenditure, at 95.8%.

On the other hand, the other categories accounted for a much smaller proportion, community contributions which were the second largest revenue source, which is 10.4%, and this was followed by the program revenue,at 2.2%.Investment income,government grants and other income were the lowest among all ,they got the similar proportion which is also below than 0.5%.

Subsequently, fundraising,management and general are the only two left categories for the expenditure, where they also accounted for a minor proportion at below 3%.The amount of income was $53561580 which was just enough to cover the amount of expenditures of $ 53224896.
