The pie chart illustrates the shares of six different sectors in the emission of greenhouse gases in the United States annually.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that the waste disposal and treatment has the least percentage among others. In contrast, the greatest source of gas emissions is power stations.
To start with, power stations are the biggest portion of the given pie chart with just above a quarter (25.3%). After that, the second main cause of greenhouse gas emissions is industrial processes which contains 19.4% of all gases. Moreover, transportation fuels is also detrimental to air as it emites 18.1% of all greenhouse gases.
The waste disposal and treatment is the most sustainable in the diagram which is only 8.4% of all egs emissions. By contrast, land use and biomass burning is less environmental friendly with exactly 13.1% of all gas emissions, whereas fossil fuel and processing is 15.7%.
