The pie chart dispirit the information by giving causes that why the agricultural fields becomes less productive.Furthermore,the table blow illustrate the causes of land degradation affected by three regions namely-North America,Europe,and Oceania,in the last decade of 20th century.
The pie chart shows the main land degradation causes worldwide.The over-grazing covers the most cause of degradation of land by 35% of total.The second most is deforestation which also play an important role in land degradation with amount of 30%.Another cause of land degradation is over-cultivation which cover 28% of total,and remaining 7% is because of other things.
The table gives information also of land degradation but by regions.Information involve in table contain three regions.First one is North America which covers 5% of total land degradation which involves deforestation,over-cultivation,over-grazing by 0.2,3.3 and 1.5 percent.The second region is Europe which contains a lard amount of land degradation by 23% of total by 9.8% first,7.7% second and 5.5% of third cause.The third region is Oceania which cover an average area of land degradation about 13% of total with 1.7% of deforestation,0% of over-cultivation,and 11.3% of over-grazing.
Overall,over-grazing is a main cause of land degradation both worldwide and regional.
