The following pie charts illustrate the proportion of classes that why agricultural land declined in different countries(North America,Europe and Oceania).
Overall across in north america agricultural land decreased by 5% in Europe it plunged by 23% while in oceania it lowered upto 13%.
As in 1990 deforestation was the cause of 0.2% decline in agriculture land in north america while in europe it was responsible for decline of 7.7% and in addition to these in oceania agiculture land alleviated by 5.5%.
On the other hand, over-cultivation was also found accountable for degradation in agriculture land. In North america it was 3.3%, while in europe the proportion was a bit higher 7.7%. Besides these two regions in oceania there was no over-cultivation found.
