The pie chart demonstrates the emissions of carbon dioxied of 6 largest polluters in 2015, while the bar graph represents the top 6 emmiters per person in the same year.
Overall, it is clear that although China and the United States generated almost a half of the world’s emissions in that year, the highest polluter of carbon dioxede emissions was Saudi Arabia. Additionally, despite being in the top 3 producers of the CO2, China and India were not among the highest emission producers per capita.
According to the pie chart, 31% of global emissions came from China, followed by 17% in the US. Moreover, coutries, such as India, Russia, Japan, and Germany produced almos a fifth of the world’s emissions, while the rest of the world were accounted for 34%.
In terms of the emissions per person, it is clear that Saudis produced 16 metric tonnes per person, while the US, Australia, and Canada were not far behind, accounting for 15 metric tonnes per capita each. In contrast, Russia and South Korea had lower rates of emissions per individual, 10 and 12 metric tonnes, respectively.
