The pie chart below shows us some information about the ages of the populations of Oman and Spain in the years 2005 and projections for 2055.
As the pie chart shows, for Oman in 2005, the ages of 0- to 14-year-olds and +60 years and older are 48%, so it means they are equal; but in Spain in 2005, the rates are more separated, and there is 24% for people aged 15 to 59.
Moreover, in 2055, it is estimated that the rate of people aged +60 and older in Oman will increase by 9%, and the rate of people aged 0 to 14 will decrease by 11%; however, the rate of increase in the 15- to 59-year-old age group is only 2%. In 2055, Spain will have a strong decrease in the 60+ age group, and nevertheless, the rate of people aged 15 to 59 is nearly double the rate of people aged 15 to 59 in 2005.
In conclusion, we can conclude that the rate of young people in Spain in 2055 will be incredibly increased, but the rate of people in Oman in 2055 is almost the reverse compared to Spain.
