The pie charts show the ages of populations of two different countries, Oman and Spain in 2005 and forecast for 2055.
It is apparent that the percentages of population aged 60+ years are leader for each country. The indicator of population aged 15-59 years is the lowest in Oman, in other hand for Spain this is the percentage of population aged 0-14.
Taking a closer look at the pie charts of Oman. In 2005, the indicators of people 0-14 year-old and 60+ year-old are 48%. According to projections for 2055 percentage of population 60+ years increases to 57% and percentage of people 0-14 year-old decreases to 37%. People aged 15-59 years are 4% of the total population in 2005 and it rises to 6% at the forecast for 2055.
Turning to the pie charts of Spain, percentages of population 60+ years are leader in 2005 and in 2055 with 62% and 46% respectively. This is followed by percentages of people aged 15-59 years. In 2005, this is 24% and rises dramatically to 42% in 2055. The least indicator is the percentages of population of aged 0-14 years, in 2005, this is 14% and it falls slightly to 12% in 2055.
