The presented pie charts compare the proportions of different fields of study – social sciences, humanities, education and engineering – between males and females in Clydesdale university.
Overall, it is clear from the charts that engineering category has a dominance among men, while women tend to apply for education. In addition, the least portion of categories are true for humanities and social sciences, respectively for men and women.
Looking at the percentages of men, engineering remains permanent among types in list, accounting for 45%. Following that, social sciences and education illustrate 25% and 20%, respectively. Humanities, in contrast, exhibits the lowest portion at roughly 10%, 4 times less than engineering.
Turning to females, the percentage of educational classes makes up the highest level, staying at 35%. Consisting of 30%, figures for humanity subjects is placed secondly. Both engineering and social sciences being popular among men, constituted lower shares by female students, at 20% and 20%.
