The two pie charts show the comparison of the accumulation of electricity generated by seven kinds of resources: hydro pump storage, gas, other renewables, nuclear, hydro natural flow, oil, and coal between two decades ago and last year in Scotland, expressed by percentages
Overall, the generator trend in the two periods was noticeably different. In particular, nuclear, other renewables, and oil were produced more last year than twenty years ago. Nuclear was produced at 26.4% which increased by 34%. Moreover, the most significant increment was the other renewables and oil production, which grew by around 50% compared with twenty years ago and reached their peak in the last year at 5.1% and 4.0%, respectively. It was evident that whereas the other renewables and oil rose sharply in the latest period, some other generators dropped in the last year, for instance, coal (41.4%), hydro natural flow(7.9%), and hydro pumped storage (2.2%).
Although, there are some similar patterns between the two periods. Coal was in both periods given, reaching 41.4% and slightly plugged by 8.7% in the last year to 32.7% precisely.
