Overall, the propotion of students choosing Other sciences and technology and Combined courses declined noticeably. In contrast percentage of students choosing Medicine and biology, Bussiness, Art and Design and Humanaties saw a moderate increase.
Some of particular subjects experienced a substantial decline in the propotion of students choosing them. Other sciences and technology accounted for 26% of student choices in 1995, however it lost its position and dropped to 20% by 2008. Combined courses made up 12,2% of student preference in 1995, nevertheless it decreased considerably to 0,5% by 2008.
