The pie charts depict the changes in the proportion of students taking different subjects at uniiversity in the UK over a period of 13 years,starting from 1995.
At first glance,it can seen that the students showed their interest on medicine and biology, business, arts and design and humanities, while other science and technology, combined courses less popular towards the students throughout the period.
To begin with,in 1995, the students of humanities dominance the other courses,took the first position with 30% which maintained its superiority and increased by 2% throughout the period. In contrast,the students who admitted in science and technology subject declined slightly from 26% to 20.8% in 2008.Moreover, medical amd biology course grew up its popularity and reached at 21.8% at the end of the period.
On the other hand,business and art and design belong to the lowest position almost 10% and 10.9% which increased steadily at 10.9 and 13% respectively in 2008.Although the number of students prefer to combined course around 12.2%, roughly declined and went to below 1% at the end of the year.
