There are two pie charts containing information about the appliances that young adults use to watch TV programs in Canada over the ten-year period. Overall, while Conventional TV was the most common way of watching in 2009, the prevalence dramatically decreased over the years.
According to the data, almost a third of youth used the conventional TV and it was the most popular among other devices in 2009, but by 2019 figures changed, and it became the less popular type of implements. The contribution of tablets was only 5% in 2009, though it increased to almost fifth by 2019. Using the desktop computers saw the smallest change after a decade of interval, with 18% and 12% respectively.
It should be noted that the popularity of Flat-screen TVs changed dramatically, less than tenth in 2009, and approximately quarter by 2019. The rates of mobile phones doubled, 15% in 2009 and nearly 30% in 2019. In 2009, one fifth of Canadian people used a laptop for watching, then in 2019 it amounted to 12% of the total usage.
