In 2010 electric and appliance accounted for the largest contribution of shopping sales at 27%, followed closely by food and beverage at 21%. According to the chart home and furnishings made up 22%, whereas video games illustrated 19%. In addition, other sources were much smaller, as present items and books at 7% and 4% respectively.
By 2015 the picture had changed slightly. Electric and appliance with food and beverages rose modestly to 33% and 22%, while home furnishings dropped sharply to 19%. At the same time video games decreased significantly to 8%, and other resources rose dramatically to 11% and 7%.
In summary, while merchandising such as electric and appliance with food and beverages continued to dominate sales production, there was a clear shift toward products like books and presents between 2010 to 2015.
