The given pie charts present data realted to the percentage of sales made through web for four barter categories, among which are “film/music”, “books”, “clothes”, and “travel”, in New Zealand in 2003, and 10 years appart in 2013.
It is possible to notice a decrement in the sector of clothes, along with the online purchasing of travel. Adittionally, both categories descend their position according to their percentages, since the first one in 2003 was in second place and ended at the bottom, and the second one trade its first place with books’ category, nevertheless it continued being on the podium.
However, not all of the sectors suffer a lost in their e-commerce results. In sharp contrast, films and music sales increased a 12%, and the selling of books online up to 22%.
