Overall, it is evident that in 1985 modern languages such as French, German, and a Spanish was popular among students, while music accounted for the smallest fraction. By contrast, this year, IT dominated the chart, whereas art played the minor role.
More precisely, modern languages ranked the highest, with 24% of the total share, but it decreased to 17% by this year. The share of fitness and dance remained almost unchanged at around 22%. Local history constituted 15% in 1985, but this year it was not chosen by students. Cookery experienced an upward trend, increasing from 14% in 1985 to 19%, this year. Conversely, art showed an opposite pattern. The figure declined from 17% to 15% during the same period.
As for music, the figure accounted for only 8%, representing the smallest share in 1985, but this year it was not selected by any students. IT, which previously did not make an interest for students, now responsible for 27% of the total.
