Two pie charts illustrate how many students in proportions have enrolled in 6 different passtime extra-curricular at centre for education for adults. Year 1985 and this year are provided.
Overall, “Modern languages (French/Germany/Spanish)” had the highest rate at the beginning, however now physical exercises course as “Fitness and dance” is the highest in the percentage of involvement; two courses: “Local history and Music appreciation are substituted” by “IT”.
The largest proportion of adults (24%) preferred to study Modern languages in 1985. This was by 2 percent higher than that of the course devoted to movements and coordination. Fitness and dance lesson has received the same level of recognition in both years. Its amount is equal 22% this year as it was 40 decades before. The rest activities had rates below 20 in the first given year. Art had 17 percent, this was almost twofold less than that of Music appreciation (8%). The remained two lessons Local history and Cookery gained approximately the same percentage, 15 % and 14%, respectively.
This year has witnessed numerous changes in the proportion of adults involvement and in 1 additional type of extra-curricular. The classes for Cookery became a bit more desirable by 4 percent. This is the only course that has a higher rate compared to initial year. Modern Languages and Art decreased by 8% and 2 %, respectively. Here the former mentioned now has the same number of students as Art had 40 years ago. The largest change of this year is introduction of IT course with its coverage of 27% of the total number of centre attendance. This course substituted two various courses as Local History and Music appreciation.
