The pie charts illustrate the proportion of pupils who attend in different courses of adult education institution in 1985 and current year.
Overall, it is obvious that the music appreciation and local history have been replaced by the IT classes. Moreover, the rate of learners participating in cookery lessons have increased, the opposite was true for art and modern languages classes throughout the period.
According to the first graph, the number of people took part in the modern languages was surveyed as the highest percentage of students among 6 courses, accounting for 24%, contrast sharply to the music appreciation which was one-third of the languages classes. In addition, the quantity of students attended the fitness and dance lessons stood at 22% while the rate of those joined in the remaining course had similar percentage, approximately from 22% to 14%.
Over a period of time, the proportion of pupils who studied in modern languages and art course both decline to 24% and 17% respectively, compared with the climb to 19% of cookery lessons. Additionally, the fitness and dance remain relatively unchanged whereas the IT classes peak at 27% which considered as the highest rate during the period 1985 to recent day.
