The two pie charts illustrate the proportion of six activities of adults working (playing sports, going out, travel to work, sleeping, working and relaxing at home) in a particular country in two years (1958 and 2008).

There was only a very minimal increase in activity from other interests to playing sports, whereas working and relaxing at home almost doubled. Going out and sleeping was the activity to decrease over the period.
Other interests or playing sports comprised 19% in 1958 and by 2008, it increased by about 2% to 8%. Likewise, the amount of variety activities which was travel to work went up approximately 6% from 2% in the first year to 8% by the final year.
The activity of working rose significantly from 33% in 1958 to 42% in 2008. The percentage of relaxing at home accounted for 8% but then climbed to 13%.
Going out and sleeping, on the other hand, accounted 19% and 32% of all activity in 1958 but 50 years later it significantly went down to 6% and 25% respectively.
